Spiced Island Mule

Ingredients:

45 ml Terps & Co Rum-esque Spirit

25 ml Just Juice Lime Juice Pouch

20 ml Six Barrel Soda Ginger Ale Syrup

100 ml Fevertree Yuzu & Lime Soda Water

Garnish: F n Lemons Dried Lime Wheel

Optional: Mint sprig or candied ginger skewer

Method:

  1. Fill your glass with ice - crushed or cubed
  2. Add the base: Pour in Terps & Co Rum-esque Spirit, followed by the lime juice and ginger ale syrup.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Top it off with Fevertree Yuzu & Lime Soda Water.
  5. Stir once more to bring everything together.
  6. Garnish with a dried lime wheel. For a touch of freshness, add a mint sprig or a candied ginger skewer.
  7. Taste and enjoy: Take a moment to sip slowly and savour the balance - bright citrus, warming spice, and a clean, refreshing finish.

This cocktail is a bold yet balanced nod to island indulgence - without the booze. The Spiced Island Mule opens with a nose of fresh lime and candied ginger, then dives into a layered taste of citrus sparkle and warming spice. Terps & Co’s rum-esque base brings depth without heaviness, while Fevertree’s Yuzu & Lime soda lifts the whole experience into something crisp, clean, and utterly crushable.

Prefer a little more bite? Add an extra dash of ginger syrup (5–10 ml / 1–2 tsp) to turn up the heat—your tastebuds will thank you.

Perfect for golden hour hangs, post-pilates refreshment, or impressing your mate who “doesn’t usually do mocktails.” Garnish with a dried lime wheel and a cheeky mint sprig, and you’ve got a glass that’s as photogenic as it is flavourful.
